Why
did Adamy become a Massage Therapist?
Having been brought up as a Christian, I was always
fascinated with the fact that Jesus the Christ could miraculously heal
people with his hands. As a
student of metaphysics for over 20 years now, I know that within each of
us exists an innate ability to heal ourselves, and with practice, help
others become aware of their ability.
I have studied many books that teach us how each individual is
responsible for their own health and well-being.
It has been this interest in hands-on healing that inspired me
to become a massage therapist.
I have to admit that the first time I was offered a
massage; I didn’t think it was important or beneficial enough for me.
I’ve been under chiropractic care for a while and believed it to
be the only way to maintain a healthy body.
I was unable then to make the connection between the physical and
the metaphysical.
By the time I first considered this program, I had
already received my First Degree Reiki attunement.
As Reiki practitioners we learn to become instruments of God’s
Healing energy in the universe, allowing the energy to flow through us and
participate in the healing process of others.
This awareness helped me realize that in order to experience
balance in our lives, our mind, body, and spirit needed to be balanced. I finally understood the delicate balance between the
physical and the metaphysical; Healing becomes Wholeness.
I believe massage therapy is beneficial to all people
regardless of gender, profession, daily activities or financial status.
I also believe that when you add the healing energy of the universe
into the therapeutic process of massage, you are asking for Divine
intervention in the healing process.
I do not claim to heal people; I am only an
instrument of God. When I
work with clients, my prayer is that God’s will for them be done, not
mine.
Today, massage therapy has become my way of sharing
with others the gift of God’s Healing Energy and the blueprint to a
holistic balance of mind, body, and spirit.
